Tom is best described as an ambitious and determined sailor. These attributes see him sailing to the far reaches of the globe. Currently Tom is aboard Team Ericsson in the Volvo Ocean Race starting in Vigo, Spain finishing in Gothenburg, Sweden.

The latest campaign for Tom is The Mini Transat Race held biannually. The 4000 mile race starts in the Bay of Biscay, France and finishes in Bahia, Brazil and will test all of Tom's skill as a sailor. He has dreamt of completing The Mini Transat Race as long as he can remember and it seems he will not stop until he has completed the race to the best of his ability.
